Student Religious Accommodations

All students shall be provided reasonable accommodations for sincerely held religious beliefs with regard to examinations and other academic requirements.

As described in the District’s “Equal Educational Opportunities / Nondiscrimination Policy” required annual notice:

It is the intent of the School District of Beloit Turner to comply with both the letter and spirit of the law in making certain discrimination does not exist in its policies, regulations and operations. Grievance procedures have been established for students, their parents, and employees who feel discrimination has been shown by the School District of Beloit Turner.

Specific complaints regarding the provision of reasonable accommodations for sincerely held religious beliefs, or alleging discrimination, should be referred to:
